Ballet Folklorico Nuevas Estrellas

Born and raised in Avondale, Arizona, Lorenzo Trotter has been passionate about ballet folklórico dance since the third grade. Throughout the years, he has participated in countless performances and cultural events, representing his community across multiple states and internationally.

After years of helping dancers develop their folklórico skills, Lorenzo discovered that teaching was his true calling. Driven by a mission to keep Mexican traditions alive while empowering young dancers, he founded Ballet Folklórico Nuevas Estrellas in 2025 to create a supportive space where children can celebrate their Mexican heritage with pride.

Lorenzo proudly welcomes dancers of all abilities, including children on the autism spectrum and those with unique challenges. His commitment to creating an inclusive, patient, and empowering environment allows every dancer to feel valued, capable, and proud of who they are.
